2017 will soon be over. Nasa last quarter na tayo ng taon and soon it will be 2018. But before tayo magmadali na i-welcome ang bagong taon, i-welcome muna natin ang bagong buwan ng November.

New Month: New Goals to Achieve

Usually, kapag umpisa ng bagong buwan, magandang mag set ng tiny achievable goals para we can change or improve ourselves. Here are a few good goals to set.

  1. Work on time management. Kapag mage-end of the year na maraming reports ang kailangan nating i-prepare and usually mas dumadami ang work tasks natin. To cope, dapat marunong tayong humawak ng oras natin and manage kung paano natin gagawin ang lahat in order and in a timely manner. Do one thing at a time until you have crossed off your to do lists. Start with the most important ones. Until you have accomplished everything on time. Iba ang feeling kapag nagagawa natin ang lahat ng bagay ng maayos.

  2. Get rid of clutter with the The KonMari Method. Developed by Marie Kondo, this is widely regarded as a new approach to de-cluttering based on Japanese values in order to surround yourself with items that spark joy. We are always guilty of holding on to things, clothes or knick-knacks and as a result, our space becomes messy and this has a bad effect on how we live our life. To have a clean, well-organized space, which will help welcome positive vibes into your life, follow the steps, in this article: http://bit.ly/2yRJmvD.

  3. Make extra cash with your pre-loved items. Since you have de-cluttered your room and you have had the courage to get rid of what you don’t wear anymore or don’t need, now you can sell these items online to get you more moolah. You can also sell through SouqPinoy.com your pre-loved clothes and accessories, so you earn extra money.

  4. Plan your Early Christmas shopping. Since you’ve been able to get extra cash selling your pre-loved items, you now have an additional budget to allocate well for gifts for your loved ones. Work within your set budget and do not fall victim to last-minute shopping. As early as this November, start your holiday shopping. Make a list of your loved ones and what you want to give them. Create a budget and stick to it. Kapag maaga kang namili, you have enough time to really find the right gifts. It is the thought that counts.

  5. Take time for yourself. It is a good practice to always take time to do things for yourself, whether that is reading a good book while having a hot cup of chocolate or having “Pamper me” time at a salon, or watching a movie, or doing exercise. When you take time for yourself, doing the things you love, you honor yourself, you replenish your reserve and you have more to give to your family and friends.
